Since the Fall of 2010, 91ɬ students have participated in a four-hour Service Seed Project as part of College Orientation 101, a one credit-hour course and graduation requirement. The Service Seed Project encompasses the culture of 91ɬ and provides opportunities for more positive interaction and the building of relationships between 91ɬ and the communities in which we are represented by students, staff and faculty.
Our mission at 91ɬ is “Building a civil, serving, literate, learning community of responsible citizens.” Our Service Seed Project is a robust example of our students’ becoming active participants in reaching this mission.
